CAMPBELL...Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, for Gamel S. Hassen, 42 who passed away suddenly Tuesday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Hospital of congestive heart failure.
Mr. Hassen was born July 7, 1962 in Youngstown, the son of Soultan Ali and Antoinette E. Solomon Hassen.
He worked with the Youngstown Developmental Center for 13 years and then went on to work for Northstar Steel until becoming disabled. He was a graduate of Girard High School.
He leaves brothers and sisters, Anthony, Jamiela, Daniel, Debra, Abdullah, Mohamed, Abdliezl and Gyeed, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ahmed Hassen; and a nephew, Nathaniel.
Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
