Gavin L. Hutcheson

NORTH JACKSON - With deepest sorrow, we announce that Gavin Hutcheson, age 21, our most beloved son, brother, family member, and friend passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 30, 2024.

Those who knew Gavin, even just a little, will miss his quick wit and charm. He was a shining light in their lives. A gentle giant that would endure whatever was needed for the sake of family and friendship.

Gavin graduated from Jackson Milton High School in 2021. He was a welder for Rolling Fabrication in Berlin Center for some time. He had a passion for cars, music, and the outdoors. He enjoyed watching and playing sports, especially basketball and baseball. Gavin was proud of his "shoe game," taking great pride in his extensive collection.

Gavin will be mourned forever by his adoring parents Kim Barkelew (Joel) and Duane Hutcheson (Nicole Morris), brothers Blake and Chase Hutcheson, sisters Shaelah and Alahna Barkelew, grandparents Jerry and Marlee Postlethwait, Sheila Weaver, and Jan-Marie Barkelew, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Family and friends may gather to honor Gavin from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, 4303 Mahoning Ave. Austintown, OH 44515. Following the calling hours, there will be a service for Gavin starting at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
