Youngstown . . Memorial Services will be held Friday at 7:00 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral, Poland Chapel for Mr. George A. Peplow, age 79, of Youngstown who died Wednesday morning at Hospice House.
Mr. Peplow was born May 1, 1927, in Youngstown a son of Sam and Isabella Lewis Peplow.
He was a union carpenter Local 171 retiring in 1992 and was a Navy W.W.II veteran.
Mr. Peplow was an avid gardener and loved to walk miles with his wife the former Elizabeth "Betty" Pollock whom he married Oct. 7, 1950.
Besides his wife Betty he leaves a daughter Kim Robert Johnson Of Boardman; a son George Nancy Peplow of Dublin, Ohio; a sister Isabell Fred Hornickle of Canfield and a brother William Joanne Peplow of Struthers; 5 grandchildren Summer, Ashley and Hunter Peplow; Graham and Thayne Johnson and one great granddaughter Peyton.
He was preceded in death by a sister Pearl Trumbell and a brother Harold Peplow.
Friends may call Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
