Georgeanna Mealy

POLAND - Services will be Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel for Georgeanna S. Mealy age 88 of Colonial Estates, formerly of S. Main Street, who passed away Sunday morning at Austinwoods Care Center.
Georgeanna was born July 9, 1916, in Youngstown, the daughter of Clarence C. and Margery E. Mathay Smith.
She was a graduate of Poland Seminary High School, and had attended Youngstown College. She worked in the Finance Department of the Home Saving and Loan in Youngstown, retiring in 1981.
Her husband Allan L. Mealy whom she married August of 1940, died April 23, 1954.
She is survived by a son Alan L. Mealy, Jr., and his wife Bernadine of Maple Shade, NJ, and a granddaughter Tess Mealy.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister Helen Weyer.
