BOARDMAN - A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel for Mrs. Georgette Rose Marian, 91, of Shepherd of the Valley in Boardman, who died early Sunday Oct. 24, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center with her family by her side.
Georgette was born April 30, 1919, in Youngstown, to the late Julius and Rose Marsilio Caporossi.
She was a member of St. Dominics Church, and a graduate of The Rayen School. Georgette worked for many years at Lustig?s Shoes. Georgette was a wonderful cook and an excellent baker, no one left her table hungry. She was a very giving person and enjoyed charity work. Her family was her first love and priority. She cherished the company of her friends and will be dearly missed.
Georgette is survived by her daughter, Judy D?Onofrio of Boardman; a son, Tom Giblin of Boardman; a sister, Adeline Willis of Liberty; and a grandson, Tom Giblin of Canfield.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Marian; and her beloved cat, Kato.
Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
