Gilbert Sabo

Youngstown-Services will be 7:00 PM Friday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Gilbert S. "Gibby" Sabo age 81 of Youngstown who passed away suddenly Wednesday morning, Gilbert was born August 13, 1923, in Youngstown, the son of Louis and Barbara Sabo Sr. He had worked at the Falcon Foundry in Lowellville as a machinist for over 25 years retiring in 1985. He was a veteran serving in the Navy during W.W.II.
He is survived by his wife the former Anna Marie Lorrin whom he married October 19, 1974, three daughters, Judith R. Robert Wasylychyn of Austintown, Diana L. Daryle Osborne of Mineral Ridge, and Shelly Castle of Largo, Florida, a sister Irma Jay Mislevy of Henderson, Nevada, four brothers, Arnold Stephanie Sabo of Austintown, Robert Cathy Sabo of Canton, James Pat Sabo of Canfield, and Thomas Mary Ann Sabo of Columbiana, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers Louis Sabo Jr., Paul Sabo, and William sabo, and a sister Olga Speery.
