AUSTINTOWN There will be services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Gloria Jean Miller, 72, who passed away Tuesday at Briarfield Manor.
Gloria was born August 5, 1934 in Youngstown, a daughter of Jack and
Florence Pearson Singleton.
Gloria was a 1952 graduate of Rayen High School. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. She was a participant of the 2005 Women¹s Renewal and became a member of the 2006 Women¹s Renewal Team at the church.
She enjoyed bowling and was a member of the church's bowling league. She also enjoyed fishing and crocheting. She spent many winters in Florida and she always loved to travel. She was known for being an excellent baker.
Her husband, Charles W. Miller, whom she married July 11, 1953 passed away January 8, 2005.
She is survived by two daughters, Diana M. Jim Ignazio of Austintown and Linda J. Ray Westhead of Youngstown; a son, Charlie Miller of Austintown;
two half sisters, Sally Ormond Ware of Florida and Jackleyn Murray Bennett of Florida; a sister-in-law, Brenda Hilbert of Austintown; five grandchildren, Jamie Rick Walski; Kristin Ignazio; Jessica, Ray and Jared
Westhead; and a great grandson, Dustyn Feltner.
Besides her parents and husband, Gloria is preceded in death by a brother, Jack Singleton.
Family and friends may call from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
