Harvey Lester

HARVEY LESTER 81, passed away Monday morning at Hillcrest Hospital. Harvey was born Jan. 24, 1936, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Max and Helen (Solomon) Lester. Harvey graduated from Western Reserve University and Chicago Medical School. He was an ophthalmologist and had his own private practice. He loved being outdoors, and enjoyed skiing, tennis, and biking. Harvey leaves his five children, David (Virginia) Lester of Moreland Hills, Ellen Arian of Mendham, N.J., Karen (Ben) Deutsch of Atlanta, James (Heather Zuber) Lester of New York City, and Kristin Lester of Boulder, Colo.; and 10 grandchildren. Harvey was preceded in death by his sister, Elaine Lester. A graveside service will be held Thursday, Aug. 31, at 3 p.m. at the Rodef Sholom section of the Tod Homestead Cemetery, 2200 Belmont Ave., Youngstown, OH 44505. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Suburban Temple, 22401 Chagrin Blvd., Beachwood, OH 44122. In lieu of flowers, donations may made to the CF Care Fund, P.O.
