YOUNGSTOWN ? Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel for Helen Allason, 87, who passed away peacefully Sunday morning at Masternick Memorial in New Middletown surrounded by her loving family.
Helen was born June 2, 1923, in Youngstown, where she lived all her life. She was the daughter of the late Russell L. Billman and Elizabeth Oliver Billman.
Helen was a homemaker most of her life and in the 60's and early 70s worked at Hills Department Store for 11 years.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Allason, Aug. 17, 2010, and by her son, Jerry Lynn Allason in 2002.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen Allason Kyle and her husband, Pete of Atlanta and Elizabeth Jane Berry and her husband, Jack Jr. of Poland; a son, Terry Edward Allason of Boardman; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call one hour prior to the services on Tuesday, from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Helen went to be with her husband, Edward, to celebrate their 65th Wedding Anniversary together, Aug. 22, 1945.
