AUSTINTOWN - A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Casimir Church, 145 Jefferson St., for Helen L. Andrjwski Fusco, 69, who passed away Thursday morning at Mahoning Valley Hospital.
Helen was born Nov. 29, 1937 in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph P. and Vera J. Bega Andrjwski Sr.
A 1955 graduate of The Rayen School, she was employed by Forum Health Northside and the Southside Hospitals as a registrar in admitting, retiring
in 1999. She was the secretary at St. Casimir Church and a member of its Altar and Rosary Society. Helen was a member of the American Business Women of the Mahoning Valley and had a special devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Jesus. She enjoyed crafts, reading, playing cards with her family, and trips to San Diego, Calif. and the Outer Banks, N.C. Helen was a fan of the Cleveland Indians and of the Cleveland Browns. Her greatest love was for her family, especially her granddaughters.
Helen leaves her husband, Donald J. Fusco, whom she married Aug. 21, 1957; a son, David Misty Fusco of San Diego; two sisters, Jean Stephen ³Bud² Symbolik and Betty Childers, both of Austintown; two brothers, Joseph Bev Andrjwski of Canfield and Thomas Rosemarie Andrjwski of Beloit; two granddaughters, Summer Moss and Mia Fusco; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Veronica Shuler.
