AUSTINTOWN - Services will be Saturday at 9:00 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, and at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Helen V. Cantwell age 85 of Austintown who passed away Wednesday at her home surrounded by her family of congestive heart failure after a long illness.
Helen was born March 2, 1919, in Youngstown, the daughter of Raymond J. and Marie F. Peebles Reagan.
She was a graduate of St. Columba School, and the Rayen School. She was a bookkeeper for the Automatic Sprinkler Corp., and later at the General China Company. She was a charter member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, and a member of its altar and rosary, and its senior citizens. She was also a member of the AARP.
She is survived by her husband James R. Cantwell whom he married February 2, 1946, two daughters, Margery Michael Barthelmy of Silver Springs, MD, and Mary Louise McNally of Austintown, a son Robert J. Cantwell of Westlake, Ohio, four grandchildren, Jennifer Casey McNally-Anderson, and Brian, Kevin, and Timothy Cantwell of Westlake, Oh.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Martha Dougherty, and Agnes Hughs, a brother Raymond A. Reagan, and a niece Elaine Dougherty.
