YOUNGSTOWN - Funeral services will be held in Ford City, Pa., for Helen
Cole, 89, who died Friday morning in Omni Manor after a period of declining
health.
Helen was born April 27, 1918 in Ford City to the late Dan and Edna Conn
Yanoff.
She came to the Youngstown area in the 1950s from Dayton.
She retired from the Youngstown City Schools in 1986 with more than 20 years
of service and worked in several cafeterias, including the Butler Kitchen.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William
Edward Cole, who passed in 1966; a sister, Elizabeth Yanoff; and three
brothers, Nick, Gerard, and Charles Yanoff.
She is survived by a daughter, Dana Robert Gail Olsen of Youngstown; a
grandson, Eric Olsen; and a great-grandson, Christopher Eric Olsen.
Friends may call on Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Higgins Reardon Funeral
Home, Austintown Chapel.
