Struthers- A Mass of Christian burial will be Friday 10:30am at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers, and at 9:45am at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel for Mrs. Helen E. Fabian, age 89, of Struthers who died Sunday afterenoon.
Helen was born February 22, 1919 in Lowellville, Ohio to the late John and Mary Miglich Susany.
She was a member of the Church, Altar and Rosary Society, and the Infant Jesus of Prague Society; she had been a member of St. Nicholas Senior Citizens, and SNPJ Lodge #277 for 70 Years. She was a Homemaker and Avon representative for 45 years and was an avid Cleveland Indians Fan.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John C. Fabian, whom she married June 8, 1948, he passed June 14, 1992; a sister Mary Susany and a twin sister Frances Susany, a brother William Susany and an infant brother Frank Susany.
She leaves a daughter, Mary Ann Elias of Struthers, a son, Chuck Martha Fabian of Beavercreek, Ohio, two sisters, Gerry Heffinger of Salem, and Barbara Jim Hope of New Springfield; two brothers, John Susany of Niles, and Robert Peg Susany of Lowellville. Three grandchildren Heather John Glass, Kelly Fabian, Ryan Fabian; seven step-grandchildren, Sue Hancox, Mike Deb Elias, Nancy Fenskie, Jan Elias, Patty Michael Muskal, Bob Thresa Elias, and Peg Lou Biska.
Friends may call Thursday from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
