Boardman - Services will be Monday at 9:45 AM at the Higgins Reardon Funeral Home Poland Chapel and at 10:30 AM at St. Dominic Church for Helen F. Hardie age 61 who passed away peacefully early Friday morning at her home surrounded by her family after a prolonged illness.
Helen was born August 23, 1944 in Youngstown, the daughter of Frank and Stella Harasuk Prucnal.
Helen was a graduate of East High School, had attended Wittenburg College, and later received a Bacholors Degree in Business Administration at Youngstown State University in 1984. She had been the director of outpatient billing for over 30 years for the Western Reserve Care System at North and Southside Hospitals. She was currently employed at University Hospital in Cleveland as a patient account manager. Helen was also a member of St. Dominic Church.
She is survived by her husband William J. Hardie whom she married March 31, 1960; two sons William J. Dawn Hardie Jr. of Raleigh, N.C., and Michael J. Colleen Hardie of Boardman; two sisters Monica Bainbridge of Boardman and Stephanie Robert Kalischak of Youngstown; seven grandchildren Michael, Brendan, Kevin, Jenna, Ashley, Robin, and Preston; and a great grand-daughter Morgan.
Besides her parents, Helen is preceded in death by a granddaughter Emily Rose Hardie.
