CANFIELD Prayers will begin Thursday at 10:15 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Church for Helen C. Kleeh, 89, who passed away early Monday morning at her home.
Helen was born Dec. 26, 1918 in Youngstown, the daughter of Joseph and Hilda Fleischer Bentfield.
She was a 1937 graduate of Ursuline High School, a homemaker and a longtime member of St. Patrick Church. She was also a member of the SOER Senior
Organization for Active Retirees and the St. Charles over 55 club.
Helen was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Her husband, Roy John Kleeh, whom she married June 16, 1940, died April 22, 1996.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Elaine Lynn Kleeh of Canfield, and Joanie Shea of Grand Rapids, Mich.; three sons, James Diane Kleeh of Boardman, Thomas Kleeh of Grand Rapids and Greg Laurie Kleeh of Canfield; a son-in-law, Dr. Marty Raupple of Canfield; 18 grandchildren; and
26 great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Raupple.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512.
