AUSTINTOWN ? Private services will be held for Helen N. McClain, 84, who passed away Monday evening at her home.
Helen was born June 9, 1925, in East Brady, Pa., the daughter of Victor and Gladys Goldie Clark, and came to this area in 1943.
Helen worked for General Fireproofing and Republic Steel. She was a member of the Four Mile Run Church.
Her husband, Jack O. McClain, whom she married June 30, 1945, passed away April 6, 2008.
Helen leaves two sons, Richard Mark Grace McClain of Austintown and Jack Emery McClain of Youngstown; a grandson, Richard McClain Jr.; a sister, Betty Rickel of Girard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a grandson, Jackie William McClain.
Arrangements are being handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
