AUSTINTOWN - Prayers will begin Tuesday at 9:00 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Helen Mary O'Donnell age 90 of Austintown who died Friday at her home.
Helen was born September 12, 1918 in Cadogan, PA, the daughter of John and Ursula Marchiori. She had worked at Youngstown Welding during W.W.II and later at Youngstown State University cleaning at the Brass Rail in Kilcawley Center. She was a member of Immacualet Heart of Mary Church, its Senior Citizens, Alter and Rosary Society and had bowled in its bowling league for over 30 years. She also enjoyed making and eating chocolates.
Her husband Bernard O'Donnell died February 25, 1965.
She is survived by a daughter Kathryn Louis E. Reese of Poland, four sons; John Mary O'Donnell of Girard, Vince O'Donnell of Lakewood, CO, Bernie O'Donnell and Kevin O'Donnell both of Austintown, a brother Edward Marchiori of Boardman, and five grandchildren Sheldon, Louie, Heather and Jennifer Reese, and John O'Donnell.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by four sisters; Agnes Marchiori, Louise Panozzo and Sister Josephine, CSJ and Sister Frances, CSJ both members of the Congregation of St. Joseph, and three brothers; Arthur, Vincent and Alfred Marchiori.
Friends may call from 5 PM to 7 PM Monday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Helen's memory.
