YOUNGSTOWN - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel for Irene DelRosso, 90, who died Monday morning at St. Mary Alzheimer's Center.
Irene was born Dec. 15, 1925, in Youngstown, the daughter of Salvatore and Rosario (Iaciancio) Fabrizio.
Irene was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Mothers of the Crucifix and Senior Citizens Club of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
Irene's husband, Orlando DelRosso, whom she married June 14, 1952, died Dec. 26, 1972.
She is survived by seven nieces and two nephews.
Irene was also preceded in death by her parents, and five brothers, Carmen, Ralph, Patsy, Henry, and Anthony Fabrizio.
Family and friends may call Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church.
Her family would like to thank the staff at the Inn at Christine Valley and St. Mary Alzheimer's Center for their wonderful care and compassion shown to Irene.
Professional arrangements are being handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
