YOUNGSTOWN Private services were held for Irene T. Masi, 90, who passed away Friday at her home.
Irene was born Nov. 30, 1915 in Campbell, a daughter of Michael and Mary Kocsis Yumbar.
Irene worked for Benada Aluminum in Girard for five years during the war.
Her husband, Anthony Masi, whom she married April 30, 1936, passed away Jan.
3, 2004.
Irene leaves her daughter, Frances I. Popevich of Valinda, Calif.; a sister, Margaret Horchark of Liberty; and a brother, Steve Yumbar of Florida.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gabriel Masi; a grandson, Jeffrey Popevich; a sister, Anna Vanucie; and two brothers, James and William Yumbar.
Arrangements are by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
