NEW MIDDLETOWN - Prayers will be held Saturday at 9:15 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Church for Irene Alice Pasternack, 80, who passed away Thursday evening at Austinwoods.
Irene was born Aug. 25, 1930, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Joseph and Irene Buran Matusica.
Irene graduated in January of 1949 from South High School. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Dominic Church.
Her husband, John Pasternack, whom she married Dec. 1, 1951, passed away Oct. 8, 1986.
Irene leaves her son, John J Pasternack of New Middletown and a sister, Rose Price of Poland.
Family and friends may call today from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
