GIRARD A memorial service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at the
Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Isabel I. Stokan, 76, who passed away Monday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Isabel was born Jan. 29, 1933 in Cherry Valley, the daughter of Gaspar and Isidora Vela Francisco.
Isabel was owner/operator of Johny Lawn Equipment Repair Service Center in Girard, retiring in 1997. Her greatest love was for her family, especially her grandchildren.
Her husband, John E. Stokan, whom she married Jan. 10, 1953, passed away Oct. 16, 1980.
Isabel leaves three daughters, Nancy Ron Fetters of North Canton, Susan David Core of Brookfield and Joyce Fricker her companion, Dean Mazza of
Girard; her former son-in-law, Harry Fricker; two brothers, Raymond Jean Francisco of Liberty Township and Demi Francisco of Struthers; and three
grandchildren, Joel and Cassandra Fricker and Allison Fetters.
Isabel was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
The family will be receiving friends Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
