BOARDMAN - Prayers will begin Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Charles Church for Isolina R. "Lina" DiTullio, 79, who died Thursday morning at the Hospice House.
Isolina was born Aug. 26, 1933, in Bagnoli Del Trigno, Italy, the daughter of Settimio and Lucia DiTosto Lazazzera. She came to this country in 1946.
She had worked as a library clerk and later in the home health care profession for 10 years before retiring in 1995. She was a member of St. Charles Church, was a member and past president of its Ladies Guild and had served as a Girl Scout Troop Leader while raising her family. Lina was a member of the Bagnolese Ladies Club, the ITAM Bowling League and a committee member of the "Greater Youngstown Italian Fest."
Her husband Rinaldo V. "Ron" DiTullio, whom she married June 9, 1951, died Feb. 11, 2007.
She is survived by her four daughters, Linda Mike Ilich of Boardman, Lisa D'Onofrio of Stow, Lita Terry Clevenger of Boardman and Deana Duke Girardi of Boardman; nine grandchildren, Mike, Ben and Ron Ilich, Brent, Brandon and Brittany Clevenger, Victor D'Onofrio, and Daniella and Desiree Girardi; a brother, Vito Frances Lazazzera; and three nieces in Texas.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Vincent D'Onofrio.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
