Jack Kreps

Boardman - There will be private services for Jack L. Kreps, 81, of Boardman, who passed away early Saturday morning at his home.
Jack was born Feb. 8, 1925, in Youngstown, the son of Ulysses T. and Ethel M. Wendelken Kreps.
Jack was owner and operator of Jack L. Kreps Plastering Inc. in 1965, retiring in 1985. He was also part owner and operator of Holiday Bowl on Youngstown-Poland Road. In his younger years Jack enjoyed boating, hunting, and bowling.
His wife the former Dorothy L. Mowen whom he married April 12, 1947, died Feb. 16, 2002.
Jack is survived by his two sons Roger Mary Ann Pirko Kreps and Ronald Karen Spotleson Kreps all of Boardman; a brother Frank Kreps of Florida; a sister Irene Klasic of Miniapolis, Minnesota; five grandchildren Natalie Kreps of Mayfield Heights, Ohio, Tiffany Kreps of Boardman, Sean Jennifer Kreps of Boardman, Jennifer Dave Leonard of Twinsburg, Ohio, Carrie Ryan Cmil of Boardman and six great-grandchildren.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
