Jack Steiner

YOUNGSTOWN — Jack A. Steiner, 79, passed away Thursday morning, April 29, 2021, at Windsor House at Canfield.

He was born April 9, 1942, in Cleveland, a son of the late Morris and Rosalie Steiner.

Jack attended Cleveland Glenville High School in ninth grade prior to graduating from Windham High School in 1961. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He retired after a career at General Motors.

Jack enjoyed doing yard work and vacationing, but most of all he loved sports and being very active.

Jack is survived by his two sons, Del (Vickie) Steiner of Garrettsville and Seth (Nicole) Steiner of Austintown; six grandchildren, Nathan, Logan, Tiffany, Travis, Bryson and Tye; his siblings, Fran Claire of Cleveland, Holly (Neil) Fluke of Canton, Larry (Brenda) Steiner of Kent and Nancy (Kenny) Ward of Cleveland; numerous nieces and nephews; and his former wife and friend, Phyllis Steiner of Austintown.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, April Hagans.

Private family services were held.

In lieu of flowers, material tributes may take the form of donations to the activity department at Windsor House at Canfield, 6445 state Route 446, Canfield, OH 44406.
