James Conricote

YOUNGSTOWN - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Christine Church for James M. Conricote, 57, the son of Charles P. and Margaret "Marge" Curtis Conricote.

He was a lifelong member of St. Christine Church, a 1976 graduate of Ursuline High School, attended Tampa College and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Youngstown State University.

He had worked for the Ohio Highway Turnpike for almost 30 years before retiring in 2013.

"Jim" will always be remembered for his love of family and friends, being a proud and loving grandpa. His great sense of humor, always willing to offer a helping hand, love for travel, for being a news junkie and an avid Notre Dame football fan.

He is survived by the love of his life, Margaret Marian; a daughter, Kara Conricote; two sons, Kurt Conricote of Alaska and Kasey Conricote of Canfield; a brother, Marty (Denise) of Dallas; one grandson, Maxwell; several extended family members, Stacey Denovchek, Christine Fileds, Nicholas (Rachael) Foster, Amber (Shelly) Manion, Chris Manion, Melissa (Jeremiah) Fike; 12 stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-granddaughter; many cousins; four goddaughters; and many loving friends.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, and Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services at 11 a.m. at St. Christine Church.
