Poland - James Lee Dolby, 72, passed away Tuesday morning at his home.
James was born September 20, 1936 in Youngstown, the son of William Henry and Mary Isabell Van Horn Dolby.
James graduated from South High School and Yougstown University in 1962. He retired from State Farm and as a substitute teacher for the Struthers School District. James was a veteran in the US Air Force and was long active in the Poland Community Baseball. He was also a member of the Kappa Sigma Kappa.
James is survived by his wife Judith Connolly Dolby whom he married April 24, 1965; sons Michael James Dolby of Lima, OH and Patrick Matthew Dolby of Boardman, OH; a daughter Andrea Lynn Dolby of Hilliard, OH; and a grandson Logan Davis Dolby of Knoxville, TN.
James was preceded in death by his parents and a brother William Dolby.
A Celebration of James's Life will be held Saturday from 10 to 2 PM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Poland Chapel.
