Poland - Funeral Services will be on Monday at 9:15 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home , Poland Chapel and at 10:00 AM in Holy Family Church, Poland for Mr. James M. McPhillips age 47, who died Thursday evening in St. Elizabeth Medical Center with his loving family by his side from complications of pneumonia. James was born September 11, 1960 in Youngstown a son of John J. "Jack" and Barbara Gibson McPhillips. He was 1978 Cardinal Mooney High School graduate, a member of the church, an avid Mooney, Cleveland Indians and Brown's supporter. He had been employed with American Dream Pools.
He is survived by his three sisters Mary Beth Thomas McKeown of Coshocton, Judy Randy Pabst with who he made his home and Jill Jerry Bell of Columbus and a brother Don Kathy McPhillips of Beachwood; and his nieces and nephews, Michael and Brianna McKeown, Haleigh, Jack and Samantha McPhillips and by the many family and friends who cared for him during the years. James was a loving Uncle and a beloved brother and true friend who always had a joke to tell and a smile that shined.
James was preceded in death by his parents.
