AUSTINTOWN - Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, celebrated by Pastor Andrew Clark, for Mr. James W. Price, 56, who passed away peacefully, Saturday afternoon, with his loving family by his bedside.

Mr. Price, affectionately known as "Jim," was born on March 13, 1960, in Youngstown, son of George V. and Mary E. (Narducci) Price, and remained a resident of Austintown his entire life.

Jim graduated from Austintown Fitch High School in 1978, and attended Youngstown State University. Following graduation, he began his career as a care taker for Youngstown Developmental Center. He just recently retired after 30 years.

Jim was known for many things, especially his love for the Minnesota Vikings. He was a member of the Vikings Club, liked to attend flea markets, and was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast.

He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Boardman, where he was very active.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Durrie Davis of Michigan; siblings Donna (Mryon) Reese of Austintown and Denny (Margie) Price of West Middlesex, Pa.; 11 nieces and nephews; and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place following the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
