POLAND - A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel, with Rev. Larry Klinkler officiating, for Jean L. Braman, 77, who died Thursday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Boardman Campus.
Jean was born Nov. 30, 1930 in Youngstown to the late Robert and Louise Kaifer Fisher.
She was a 1948 graduate of South High School and a member of the Poland Presbyterian Church.
Jean loved the library, she could be found at Poland or Boardman Libraries regularly. She had an amazing ability to be able to read and comprehend three books at a time. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles. She was a wonderful woman, she will be missed by all who knew her.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harry S. Braman, whom she married in December of 1948, he died March 30, 2003.
Jean is survived by two daughters, Mary Ellen Bruce Barnhizer of Poland and Kathy Robert Young of Poland; two sons, Scott Kim Braman of Port Orange, Fla. and Mark Shelia Braman of Canfield; eight grandchildren, Shanna, Adam, Kristen, Michael, David, Alyson, Eric, and Natalie; and a brother, Robert Nancy Fisher of Poland.
Friends may call one hour prior to services Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Private burial will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations for the purchase of a memorial brick at the Poland Library.
