Jean Caligiuri

Boardman - Prayers will be held Saturday at 9:15 AM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Boardman-Canfield Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Charles Church for Jean E. Caligiuri, 78, who passed away Sunday morning at her daughters home surrounded by her family.

Jean was born Sept. 27, 1930 in Youngstown, the daughter of Francis M and Mary Maquire Campbell.

Jean was a 1947 graduate of East High School. She was a cook in the cafeteria for Boardman Schools for 20 years, retiring in 2006. She was a member of St. Charles Church. She was an avid Ohio State, Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. Jean's greatest love was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and her great grandson.

Her husband Frank J. Caligiuri whom she married June 3, 1950 passed away July 12, 1983.

Jean leaves her three children Kathy Richard Barton of Mineral Ridge, Diane Rick Monaco of Boardman, and Michael Ann Caligiuri of Canfield; three sisters Margaret McBride of Youngstown, Marian Evan Davis of
Struthers and Patricia Thomas Daley Sr. of Poland; five grandchildren Jeff Erin Barton, Rick Melissa Monaco, Chris Barton, Joe Mindi Monaco, and Dan Mindy Barton; and a great grandson Brady Barton.

Besides her parents and husband, Jean was preceded in death by a sister
Catherine O'Neill and two brothers Francis "Bud" and Jack Campbell.

Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
