POLAND - Prayers will be held Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Church for Jean M. Gabrieli Cua, 89, who passed away Sunday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Jean was born Oct. 25, 1921, in Sharon, Pa., to the late Peter G. and Edith Tomasone Gabrieli.
Jean graduated from East High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Dominic Church. She enjoyed bingo and playing cards.
Her husband, Mario D. Cua, whom she married Dec. 2, 1944, passed away July 15, 2004.
Jean leaves several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jean was also preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur J. and Louis Gabrieli.
Family and friends may call today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Material tributes may take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley.
Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
