BOARDMAN There will be funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday at the
Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel, for Jean Dornan, 89, who died Sunday afternoon.
Jean was born Aug. 3, 1917 in Youngstown, a daughter of Attorney William G. and Virginia Herd Dornan.
She was a graduate of Miami University and was a buyer for Strouss - Hirshberg and than Kaufmann¹s. She was a member of the American Association of University Women of Youngstown.
Jean leaves five nephews, Bill April Dornan of Poland, David Ruby Dornan of California, Jim Dornan of Salem, Jim Janet Douds of Poland and Jack Douds of New York; a niece, Sandra Jim Beacraft of Dayton; a sister-in-law, Naomi Dornan of Poland; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Attorney William G. Dornan.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shepherd of the Valley in memory of Jean.
