Jeanette Peterson

BOARDMAN- Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Boardman for Jeanette Peterson age 90 who passed away Sunday evening at the Hospice House. Jeanette was born April 20, 1918 in Youngstown, the daughter of Victor E. and Agnes Isaacson Peterson. After graduating from South High School she attended Youngstown College. She had worked as an executive secretary at Cold Metal Products for many years before retiring. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church where she served on church council, sang in its choir, was president of the Sarah Ruth Circle, and was a member of the Elderberries. She was active in WELCA, volunteered for Meals on Wheels and served on the South High School reunion committee.
Among others she is survived by her cousins; Virginia Zetterquist of Boardman, Donald Shirley Peterson, Beth Donald Suorsa of New Castle, Debbie Tim Donbar of Easton, PA, William Arlene Bjorson of Canfield, Shirley Walter Abernathy of Painsville, Donna Davis of Boardman, and Charles Ramona Bjorson of Rockville, MD. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her cousin Natalie Erickson.
Friends may call from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM Wednesday at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Boardman.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to the Bethel Lutheran Church building fund in Jeanette's memory.
