YOUNGSTOWN - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Church in Youngstown for Mrs. Jeanne M. Moran, 81, who died Wednesday afternoon at the Inn of Christine Valley.
She was born March 25, 1930, in Youngstown a daughter of Earl and Marie Shea Collins.
Jeanne was a graduate of Ursuline High School, a member of the church, its Altar and Rosary Society and the Novena Club.
She had worked at Youngstown State University as a Superintendent in the mail room for 28 years.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Jeanne leaves to cherish her memory her husband, William E. Moran, whom she married Feb. 26, 1949; two daughters, Maureen "Muffin" Richard Marlowe of Youngstown and Meredythe "Maggie" Walter Lipinski of Dayton; three sons Michael Cheryl Moran of Austintown, Mark Moran and Matthew Cynde Moran of Clearwater; 10 grandchildren, Richard, Patrick Shelly, Timothy and Macy Marlowe, Lindsey, Walter and William Lipinski, Nathan Jessica Savon, Kayla and Matthew Moran; one great-granddaughter, Riley Savon; brother-in-law Jack Leetch; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters Patricia Hians and Jo Ann Leetch; and one brother Robert Collins.
Friends may call Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
