Jeffrey Bloomingdale

YOUNGSTOWN - Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel, for Jeffrey M. Bloomingdale, 43, who passed away Monday morning at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.

Jeff was born on Jan. 16, 1970, in Youngstown, a son of Richard H. and Kandy (Gerner) Bloomingdale.

Jeff was a 1988 graduate of Springfield Local High School and received a Bachelor's degree from ITT Tech.

He had a great passion for tattooing. He enjoyed golfing, listening to music and he loved art. Jeff loved spending time with his family and his cat, Cashes.

Jeff leaves his mother, Kandy Bloomingdale of Poland; two brothers, Rich Bloomingdale of Poland and Mark (Pam) Bloomingdale of Columbus; his former wife, Kelly Bloomingdale of Boardman; his girlfriend, Cindy Collins of Youngstown and her children, Victoria Edwards, Gabriella and Dony Bagdassarian; and his nieces and nephews, Devon Aey of Athens, Marquis' Bloomingdale of Columbus, Dylan Bloomingdale of New Waterford and Talyn Bloomingdale of Columbus.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father; his maternal grandparents, Paul and Jane Gerner; and his paternal grandparents, Richard and Jane Bloomingdale.

Family and friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Material tributes may take the form of donations to a fund set up in his name at Huntington Bank.
