POLAND ? A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Church for Jennie M. Parisi, 94, who died Saturday, May 22.
Jennie was born Oct. 5, 1915, in Niles, the daughter of Joseph and Mamie Rose Ross.
She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Family Church. She also belonged to numerous senior citizen groups, including the Campbell Senior citizens, Local # 1418 Senior Citizens, Lowellville Senior Citizens and the former Poland Chapter of AARP.
Her husband, Frank Parisi, whom she married June 9, 1934, died Sept. 14, 1991.
She is survived by her daughter, Sally Gerek, with whom she made her home in Poland; and two grandchildren, Laura Johnson and Ryan Gerek.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Frank Parisi Jr.; a son-in-law, Rudy Gerek; three sisters, Mary Ann Peachock, Anna Traycott and Caroline Bakalar; and four brothers, Patrick, John, Michael and Gavine ?Chappy? Ross.
Friends may call from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday morning at Holy Family Church.
