YOUNGSTOWN There will be services Monday at 8:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, and at 9 a.m. at St. Brendan Church for Jenny A. Paden, 81, who passed away peacefully Wednesday evening at her home.
Jenny was born Nov. 25, 1925, in Youngstown, a daughter of Petro and Philomena Ambrosia Cicchillo.
Jenny was employed at Simms Drug Store for 15 years and at the Meat Depot for more than 10 years. She was a member of St. Brendan Church, their Altar
and Rosary Society and their Senior Citizens group. Jenny was a bingo volunteer since its inception. She was also a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Ukraine Orthodox Senior Citizens group and was a member of T.O.P.S for more than 30 years. She was always know for preparing homemade Sunday meals and would deliver them to whomever was hosting the family dinner. Jenny was dedicated to her family and was always there for them. She will be deeply missed.
Her husband Frank L. Paden whom she married April 24, 1945 passed away March 24, 1980.
Jenny was a beloved mother to a daughter, Phyllis Matthew Oleyar of Boardman, and a son Frank L. Marsha Paden of Boardman, and a sister to Mary Talarico of Struthers. She leaves her beloved grandchildren Michelle
Oleyar, Cheryl Rob McGovern, Bradley Paden, Suzie Paden, and Laura Paden; and a great-granddaughter, Ava McGovern.
Besides her husband, Jenny was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Marlane Paden; a sister, Marian Slanzan; and three brothers, Carmen Chicklo, Sam and Tony Cicchillo.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
