CANFIELD ? Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, for Jerald W. Hartman, 80, who passed away Tuesday evening at Hospice House.
Jerald was born Nov. 2, 1929, in Osceola, Pa., the son of Clarence Raymond and Lillian Davis Hartman.
Jerald graduated from The Rayen School. He was a veteran in the Navy, serving during the Korean War. Jerald retired from GM as a machinist. He was a member of the NRA and The Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio Leetonia Lodge No. 0401. He was a private pilot and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
His wife, the former Lucille I. Becker, whom he married Aug. 27, 1950, passed away May 17, 2009.
Jerald leaves his two sons, Ken Carol Hartman of Raleigh, N.C. and Gary Ray Laura Hartman of Boardman; a brother, Clarence ?Bud? Hartman of New Middletown; and two grandchildren, Jennifer Matthew Breedlove and Gary Hartman.
Jerald was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; an infant daughter; a sister, Elsie Ours; and two brothers, Austin Mahlon Hartman and Carl M. Hartman.
Family and friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
