Jerry Snellen

POLAND-Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel for Jerry D. Snellen age 64 of Poland who died Friday afternoon at St. Elizabeth E.R. in Boardman, of a sudden heart attack he suffered at his home.
Jerry was born September 26, 1939, in Perryville, KY, the son of Dee and Lucile Wright Snellen.
He was a 1957 graduate of Lebanon Junction H. S. in Kentucky, and later served his country in the US Army. Jerry earned a Bachelors Degree in Business from the University of Louisville in 1974, and in 1977 received his MBA from Bellermine College in Louisville. He had worked at Aqua America for over 24 years retiring as the Vice President of Information in August of this year. He enjoyed reading, and gardening, and was an avid sports fan especially for his University of Kentucky Wildcats.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Josette L. Capuano whom he married August 24, 1913, two daughters Anne Snellen of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Sarah David Baer, and their sons Daniel, and Stephen of Salem.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Guy Snellen, and a sister June Spence.
Friends may call from 10 to 12:45 Tuesday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel.
The family requests that material tributes take the form of donations to either the Rescue Mission or the Salvation Army.
