CANFIELD - Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Jimene Wilson, 60, who died early Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Jimene was born May 17, 1954, in Oil City, Pa., the daughter of Gerald and Virginia (McClinsey) Swartzlander.
She worked as a press operator at Steel City for 15 years. Jimene enjoyed playing bingo, listening to country music, and loved animals, especially her dogs.
Jimene is survived by her husband of 35 years, Thomas Evans of Canfield; a daughter, Kimmi (George) Adams of Austintown; a son, Timothy Wilson (Kim Kelly) of Austintown; two stepdaughters, Jennifer Evans of Poland and Amy Evans (Frank Wells) of Boardman; three sisters, Charlotte Swartzlander of Austintown, Patti (John) DeCenso of Austintown, and Connie (Jim) Cross of Austintown; a brother, Willy (Debra) Swartzlander of Washington, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Sara, George, Dylan, Katherine, Autumn, and Kimberly; and two great-grandchildren, James and Derrick.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends may call Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
