Jo-Ann Strines

BOARDMAN — Jo Ann Strines, 85, passed away Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital.

She was born Feb. 11, 1939, in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph and Alice (Zach) Strines. Jo Ann was a graduate of Ursuline High School. 

She worked in medical records at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.As an active member of St. Luke Church, she found joy in her involvement with the Altar Rosary Society.

Jo Ann is survived by her nieces, Kelley (Tom) Rice, Sherri (Steve) Perdue, Barbara (Mike) Matronia and Terri Strines; and nephews, Myron (Jennifer) Tama and Joseph (Helen) Strines. 

In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Tama; and her brother, Joseph Strines Jr. 

There will be no services.
