AUSTINTOWN - Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 PM at St. Joseph Church in Austintown for Joan Marie (Haschak) Gugliotti age 80 who died Monday at Vibra Hospital.
Joan was born January 20. 1935 in Campbell, Ohio, the daughter of John and Mary (Orlovsky) Haschak.
She was a 1954 graduate of Struthers High School where she was a member of the Glee Club and Y-Teens. She later worked as a sales consultant for the G.C. Murphy Company for a number of years before retiring to raise her family.
She enjoyed bowling and had bowled at Wedgewood Duke and Duchess bowling league and Camelot Lanes. Joan also enjoyed singing, Elvis Presley and Tom Jones, were amongst her favorite artists. She was a member of St. Joseph Church and was active in the woman's renewal program team #5 and a member of the Tro-Est Garden Guild.
Her husband Joseph G. Gugliotti whom she married August 24, 1957 died April 13, 2013.
She is survived by two sons; Joseph G, (Renee) Gugliotti, Jr, of Boardman and Bob Gugliotti of Austintown, one sister Carol Haschak Delili of Avon Lakes, Ohio and two grandchildren; Adrianna Gugliotti and Marisa (Ryan) James.
Friends may call from 12 Noon until 12:45 PM Saturday at St. Joseph Church in Austintown.
Joan's family would like to thank the nurses, doctors and care givers at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital and Vibra Heath Care who assisted her during her illness.
