NEW MIDDLETOWN, OH - Services will be Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Church for JoAnn Febo Purfey age 53 of New Middletown, formerly of Henderson, Nevada who passed away Thursday evening at her home after a long illness.
JoAnn was born July 28, 1952, in Youngstown, the daughter of Joseph F. and Fanny K. Shives Febo.
She had been a self employed Manicurist and Anestatician in Nevada, before returning to this area because of her illness. She was a 1971 graduate of Youngstown Woodrow Wilson High School, and a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years Robert Purfey, Sr., a son Robert Purfey, Jr. of Las Vegas, her mother Fanny Febo of New Middletown, Ohio, four sisters, Jeanne Febo of New Middletown, Suzanne Frank Mikitaw of Boardman, Mary Ann Jack Rice of Liberty, and Carolyn Tom Febo-Brown with whom she had made her home in New Middletown, two brothers, Samuel J. Marlane of Youngstown, OH, and Joseph F. Brenda Febo of Austintown.
She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Febo.
Friends may call from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM Wednesday morning at St. Paul the Apostle Church in New Middletown
