Youngstown - There will be services Wednesday 9:30 AM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Boardman-Canfield Chapel and at 10 AM at St. Christine Church for Joann K. Reinthaler, 62, who passed away Saturday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Hospital surrounded by her family.

Joann was born September 9, 1944 in Youngstown a daughter of Joseph J. Mary Jane Rochford Mullarkey.

Joann was a 1962 graduate of Ursuline High School. She worked at Hills Department Store in Boardman and was a homemaker. She was a member of the church and voluntered in the cafateria at St. Christine School. She was a member of the Infant Jesus of Prague Guild and was a Eucharistic Minister at the church. She enjoyed bowling in the Thursday evening league at Wedgewood Lanes.

Her husband Joseph J. "Bogie" Reinthaler whom she married January 28, 1961 passed away January 31, 1999.
Joann is survived by a daughter Tammy L. Rivera and fiance Andrew Scavnicky; a son Joseph J. Linda Reinthaler Jr. of Canfield; two sisters Margaret D. Dick of Mercer, PA and Mary E. Payne of Dayton, Ohio; eight grandchildren Frank J Carly, Rivera, Amanda A. Rivera, Robert A. Rivera, Patrick R. Rivera, James Scavnicky, Zachary Reinthaler, Nicholas Reinthaler, and Domenic Reinthaler; and two great grandchildren Gabriella Goddard and Shaydon Reinthaler, and Dylan Goddard

Besides her parents and husband, Joann is preceded in death by a brother Joseph Mullarkey.

Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
