Austintown- Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Friday at the Higgins Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for John Banko, age 88 of Austintown, who died Sunday morning at Meridian Arms.
John was born May 21, 1919 in Youngstown to the late Stephan and Rosalia Ilko Banko.
As a child he spent many years in Europe before returning to the Youngstown area.
He retired from Youngstown Sheet & Tube.
He is survived by a daughter, Joann Precurato of Youngstown, a son John Banko of Youngstown, two sisters Catherine Wanat of Youngstown and Jaroslawa Kosc' of Poland Europe, and a nephew Charlie Wanat.
Burial in Brunstetter Cemetery.
