John Cooper

POLAND - A Memorial Mass will be held Monday at 11:00AM at Holy Family Church, Poland, Ohio for John C. Cooper, age 83, of Poland who died Tuesday afternoon at the Hospice House.

He was born November 22, 1929 in Youngstown, a son of John G. and Mary E. Sandor Cooper.

John had worked for several area printing companies as a Printing Press Operator retiring in 1991.
He had served as a Medic in the Air Force during the Korean conflict, was a member of Holy Family Church, the Mahoning Valley Stamp Club, Austintown Eagles #3298, Beer Can Collectors of America. He was also a member of the Beaver Creek Sportsman Club and was an avid coin collector.

John leaves three sisters: Veronica (Earl) Sheets of Haines City, Florida, Margaret (Joe) Bindas of Youngstown, and Mary Ann Perry of Canfield; 3 brothers Joseph (Sara) Cooper of Hubbard, William Cooper of Poland, Richard (Shirley) of Salem South Carolina. John is also leaving his very special friend, Jean Gregg of Austintown.

The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations o Hospice of the Valley in John's memory.
