CANFIELD - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic, Canfield, for Mr. John J. Fabry, 48, who died Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at Hospice House after a courageous battle with ALS.
He was born Aug. 17, 1964, in Youngstown, the son of the late Steve and Dorothy Iderosa Fabry.
John was a 1982 graduate of Chaney High School and attended Youngstown State University. He was owner and operator of Fabry Construction Company of Canfield.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, the former Marilyn Irwin, whom he married Sept. 7, 1996; his children, Allison, Sydney and Jack; a sister, Diana Dwayne Wilson of Poland; brother Stephen Kimberly Fabry of Cuyahoga Falls; in-laws Butch and Jean Irwin of Struthers; sisters-in-law Michelle David Bryarly of Boardman, Brenda Edward Wacht of Campbell; and brother-in-law Bill Teresa Irwin of Boardman.
He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Milena and Grace Fabry, Austin, Blake and Connor Wilson; and many cousins and friends.
John enjoyed golf, college and high school football, but his real passion was spending time with his children, family and friends. He was the coach of his daughter's softball team the Canfield Crush. He will be sadly missed by his fellow coaches and crush players.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
