YOUNGSTOWN - Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel for John M. "Mike" Hull Sr., 54, who passed away Monday at the Surgical Hospital at Southwoods.
Mike was born Sept. 6, 1958, in Youngstown, a son of the late Raymond E. "Eddie" and Vivian "Benzie" Corso Hull Sr.
Mike was employed at King Collision, where he did auto body repair. He was lead singer and bass player for his band "Still Smokin." Every year he played for the fallen officers benefit. Mike enjoyed cooking and canning. His greatest love was for his grandchildren and he always loved going to see them play baseball, football and cheerleading.
Mike leaves his wife, the former Julia A. Gigax, whom he married Feb. 14, 1976; his two sons, John M. Jennifer Hull II of Hubbard and Christopher Angelo "Topper" Alyssa Hull of Butler, Pa.; his sister, Melissa Joseph "Mouse" Kalaman of Boardman; his two brothers, Angelo Nancy Hull of Salem and Raymond E. Annette Hull Jr. of Clearwater, Fla.; brother-in-law, Philip Alfano of Lowellville; his four grandchildren, John M. Hull III, Eddie O. Hull, Alyssa N. Hull and Oscar S. Hull; and several nieces and nephews.
Mike was also preceded in death by his sister, Lenore "Sister" Alfano and his nephew, George A. Hudzik III.
Family and friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mike's love of life, friendship and dedication for helping others was honored through giving the gift of life with Lifebanc.
