John Logan

July 21, 1918 — November 29, 2004

CANFIELD: Services will be Friday at 9:30 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, and at 10:00 AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church for John A. Logan age 86 of Canfield and Ocean Ridge, FL who died Monday at Beeghly Emergency.
John was born July 21, 1918, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of John Austin and Estelle O'Donnell Logan.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. He came to this area in 1946. He was the President and Owner of Ajax Magnethermic. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and was a member of St. Michael Parish. He belonged to the Youngstown Country Club, The Little Club in Gulfstream FLA, The Ocean Club in Boyntown Beach FLA and The Delray Beach Club in Delray Beach, FLA.
His wife the former Ellen Graham whom he married June 28, 1941, died January 1, 2003.
He is survived by two daughters: B.J. Logan of Canfield and Carole Bardin and husband Robert of Newport Beach, Calif. and four grandchildren: Jenny Curtis and husband Jason, Shannon Beckwith and husband Matt, and Erin and Erica Bardin.
Besides his wife he was preceded in death by a brother Byron Carter Logan.
Friends may call from 5 PM to 8 PM Thursday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
