NORTH JACKSON - Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, North Jackson Chapel for John Hosack Reynolds, 66, who died Monday afternoon at his residence.
John was born June 4, 1944, in Grove City, Pa. to the late John Harold and Dorothy Mae Hosack Reynolds.
He was a member of the First Federated Church in North Jackson. John was a 1962 graduate of Grove City high School, he attended Grove City College and graduated from Parsons College in Fairfield, Iowa, where he received his bachelor degree. After college he taught school for a few years.
John was a Farrier, he owned and operated Reynolds Forge for over 40 years. John was a member of the Intercounty Horsemen's Association, Interstate Horsemen's Association, American Farrier's Association, Mid-East Farrier's Association and the MEFA.
John is survived by his wife of 45 years, the former Donna Chantrey, whom he married Feb. 12, 1966; two sons, John Robert Reynolds and his wife, Shirley of Hot Sulphur Springs, Colo. and Michael Reynolds and his wife, Kristen of Titusville, Pa.; three grandsons, Eric, Alex and Adam; and a brother, Dr. Robert Reynolds and his wife, Amy of Canfield.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
